Process for Deaf Players Participation in Sports
School players must contact their district-level deaf organization through their school.
Independent players must directly contact the district-level deaf organization.
District organizations are affiliated with a state-recognized sports federation.
District-level competitions are conducted for both school and independent players.
Players securing top 3 positions at district level qualify for state-level competitions.
Players securing top 3 positions at state level qualify for national-level competitions.
Players securing top 3 positions at national level qualify for international competitions.
Additionally, players with performance matching or close to international top 5 standards may also be eligible for international participation.
